The Kuikma PR OPEN has a round shape for better control, weighs between 320 g and +/- 7 g and has a low balance for better handling. Made from fibreglass and EVA foam.
This is a Decathlon-exclusive padel innovation: The racket is made from a single piece of EVA foam covered with a composite fibre surface. The larger EVA foam surface increases the head’s sweet spot and therefore makes it more forgiving of centring errors, resulting in better ball control.
Padel emerged in Mexico in the late 1960s. This fun sport soon found its way to Spain, Argentina, and later to all Spanish-speaking South American countries. Padel is currently the second-most played sport in Spain, behind football but ahead of tennis. There are eight million players around the world.
Its round shape and Soft EVA core provide excellent responsiveness on every shot, allowing for precise and powerful shots that will enhance your performance on the court.
