Start by removing the lid from the top of the Yankee Candle jar. Place the candle on a heatproof surface. Light the candle with a match or lighter.

Allow the candle to burn for 1-2 hours. Extinguish the flame and allow the candle to cool completely before handling. Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to prevent soot build-up. Enjoy the pleasant aroma of your Yankee Candle!
